MOSCOW, December 17. /TASS/. Russia heavyweight boxer Alexander Povetkin should be punished if there is evidence he has been doping, Sports Minister Pavel Kolobkov told reporters on Saturday.
"It is very unpleasant what has happened," Kolobkov said. "If he (Povetkin) was doping, he should be punished. A relevant commission, however, should decide on the case as it is professional boxing."
"As for the end of his career, it will depend on how strong are his will and sporting spirit," the minister added.
