MOSCOW, November 2 /TASS/. The Russian football club Rostov has lost an away match to Atletico Madrid (1-2) in the fourth round of the Champions’ League group stage match. It has also lost a chance to enter the tournament’s playoffs.
Serdar Azmun scored for Rostov on the 30th minute. Atletico’s Antoine Griezmann scored twice (28th and 90th minutes).
In another group match, German Bavaria defeated Dutch PSV in an away match 2-1.
"Atletico" scored 12 points and secured a berth in the Champions’ League last 16 in advance. The Madrid club ranks first in the Group D table. Bavaria is second (9); PSV is third (1); Rostov is fourth (1). Bavaria has also entered the tournament’s playoffs.
Rostov will receive Bavaria in the next round match on November 23. Atletico will meet PSV in a home match in Madrid the same day.
