MOSCOW, September 2. /TASS/. The Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) considers it irrelevant to raise an issue of the financial compensation with the International Paralympic Committee over its decision to bar the entire Russian Paralympian team from 2016 Rio, RPC President Vladimir Lukin told TASS on Friday.
"The Executive Committee of IPC discussed at its session today issues of financial importance, but no definite decisions were made," Lukin said in an interview with TASS. "Are we talking here about the financial compensation from the International Paralympic Committee? This issue was never raised and it is irrelevant."
On August 7, the IPC decided to bar the whole Russian Paralympic team from taking part in the 2016 Summer Paralympics.
