RIO DE JANEIRO, August 15. /TASS/. Russia’s Roman Vlasov has won the gold medal in Greco-Roman wrestling in 75 kg division.
The Russian athlete scored 5:1 in the final match against Mark Madsen from Denmark.
Saeid Abdevali from Iran and South Korea's Kim Hyeon-Woo won the bronze medals.
Roman Vlasov was born on October 6, 1990, in Novosibirsk. In the 2012 Summer Olympics, Vlasov won the gold medal in the 74 kg Greco-Roman wrestling. Two-time European Greco-Roman champion, Summer Universiade 2013 Gold Medalist. In September 2015, Vlasov won World Wrestling Championships 2015, beating Mark Madsen in the final match.
