RIO DE JANEIRO, August 10. /TASS/. The Russian Olympic squad ranks 5th in the unofficial overall team’s medal standings after the fourth Olympic day in Rio de Janeiro.

Russia has 12 medals - three gold, six silver and three bronze.

Russian judoka Khasan Khalmurzaev won the gold Olympic medal in the category of men -81kg on Tuesday.

The Russian Artistic Gymnastics Women’s Team won silver. Aliya Mustafina, Daria Spiridonova, Seda Tutkhalyan, Maria Paseka and Angelina Melnikova took silver with the final score of 176.688. The US team took gold (184.897), while bronze went to China (176.003).

The United States sits atop the medal standings with 9 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze medals. China is second (8/3/6) and Hungary comes third (4/1/1).

The Olympic Games in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro will run until August 21.
