MOSCOW, July 21. /TASS/. The Technical Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) has issued a recommendation to appoint a national expert for the post of the Russian football team’s head coach, Mikhail Gershkovich, the chairman of the National Coaches Union, said on Thursday.
"We have adopted a resolution to ask the [RFU] Executive Committee to appoint as the head coach of the national team a Russian expert, who is also exempt from club’s work," Gershkovich told journalists after the RFU Technical Committee’s session on Thursday.
The RFU Executive Committee is scheduled to meet for its session in Moscow on Saturday, July 23, to discuss among other issues the candidacy for the post of the national team’s new head coach.
