MOSCOW, July 11. /TASS/. CSKA FC player Mario Fernandes, who is planning to get a Russian passport, is not going to renounce Brazilian citizenship, he told TASS on Monday.
"Everything is okay, I am going to hold dual citizenship, both Russian and Brazilian," he said.
Mario Fernandes is planning to discuss the Russian citizenship issue with the CSKA FC management before the start of 2016-2017 season.
Earlier Soviet Union-born football player Roman Neustaedter had to renounce his German citizenship to get the Russian passport and play for the national team.
