MARSEILLE (France), June 10. /TASS/. Russia’s national squad has arrived in Marseille to face England in their Euro 2016 opener in the southern French city on Saturday, the team’s press service has said.
The game is scheduled to begin at 21:00 local time (19-00 GMT) at the Stade Velodrome.
Russian football fans bought out tickets for the Euro 2016 group stage opener against England in Marseille on Saturday night.
"All tickets are sold out. In all, some 12,000 tickets were reserved," said Vladimir Karpovich of the Russian Football Union commercial department.
Russia’s team will stay at the Pullman Marseille Palm Beach hotel close to the fan zone at the Prado beach. France’s law enforcers will ensure security there. No strangers are allowed to the hotel’s territory.
On Friday afternoon, the squad will train at the Velodrome, and Russian coach Leonid Slutsky will give a press conference.
