TULA, March 29. /TASS/. Kremlin Chief of Staff Sergey Ivanov said he was happy that his favorite Russian hockey club CSKA Moscow reached the final of the Gagarin Cup after defeating in play-offs SKA St. Petersburg club.
CSKA Moscow won on Monday the fourth of the seven-game play-off series against SKA defeating the titled club from St. Petersburg.
"The goaltender played outstandingly throughout the whole series matches, the defense was good and the boys fought as the team," Ivanov told journalists. "Considering the history of relations between the two Army clubs - and I treat SKA with respect as well - CSKA gave more than a deserving answer."
