RUEIL-MALMAISON (France), March 28. /TASS/. Doping inspectors from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) arrived at a French hotel, where the Russian national football team had been accommodated ahead of its friendly match against France on Tuesday, according to a TASS correspondent reporting from the scene.
WADA officers are believed to take doping samples of two Russian footballers within the regular out-of-competition tests.
The friendly fixture between Russia and France has been scheduled for March 29 and will be a part of Russia’s preparations for the 2016 UEFA Euro Cup. The match will be held at the 80,000-seat Stade de France stadium in French Saint-Denis.
