PARIS, December 12. /TASS/. Russia will play against England, Wales and Slovakia in Group B at UEFA EURO 2016 knockouts, according to the draw held in Paris on Saturday.
Russia may leave the group at UEFA EURO 2016, Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko told TASS on Saturday in comments on the draw held in Paris.
"Our team will face the goal of leaving the group," said Mutko, who is also President of the Russian Football Union. "Then we will view the situation. The group is good and we are able to (win and) go out of it.".
Russia's national football team will train abroad in the run up to UEFA EURO 2016 , head coach Leonid Slutsky told reporters.
Russia will play against England, Wales and Slovakia in Group B at UEFA EURO 2016 knockouts, according to the draw held in Paris earlier in the day.
"We will prepare for the (UEFA) EURO abroad," Slutsky said. "We are planning to choose a base from which we will fly to matches.".
