MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. Russia considers the possibility to become a hosting country for the next European Games in 2019, President of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov said on Friday.
The European Olympic Committees (EOC) began General Assembly session in order to choose the hosting country in Prague on November 20.
"I would like to thank the EOC authorities for their credence to Russia as the first prioritized state to host the next European games," Zhukov said. "We consider this possibility, but we have not taken any decision yet.".
