MOSCOW, November 12. /TASS/. Russia is not planning to boycott the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro if the track and field team is banned, Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko told the Associated Press on Thursday.
"We don't plant to boycott anything anywhere," said Mutko, calling Russia "a dependable partner of the international Olympic movement."
The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) is expected to consider Russia’s membership suspension because of the doping scandal on Friday.
