MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. Former member of the Ukrainian national team in platform diving, Alexander Bondar, has received Russian citizenship, the press service of Russia's Platform Diving Federation told TASS.
The Russian passport was handed to Bondar, 21, at the Kaluga regional branch of the Federal Service for Migration.
Bondar specializes in individual and synchronized diving from the platform. As a member of the Ukrainian team, he got bronze in the European championship in 2011 and won two golds in 2013.
He also took part in the Summer Olympic Games in 2012.
