MOSCOW, October 23 /TASS/. Russian tennis players, Yelena Vesnina and Darya Kasatkina, have won Moscow’s Kremlin Cup tournament in women doubles.
The Russians who had received a special invitation to the tournament defeated Romanians Irina Camelia Begu and Monika Nikulescu (2nd seed) 6-3, 6-7 /7-9/ 10-5.
Vesnina already won the Kremlin Cup women doubles tournament in 2012 together with her compatriot Yekaterina Makarova. A Swiss-Italian duet, Martina Hingis and Flavia Pennetta, won the Kremlin Cup women doubles last year.
