PRAGUE, May 18. /TASS/. Canada’s national team forward Jason Spezza has been recognised as the most valuable player of the Ice Hockey Championship in the Czech Republic, the press service of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) reported on Monday.
The Russian national ice hockey team lost to Canada 1-6 in the 2015 IIHF Ice Hockey Championship final match in the Czech capital Prague on Sunday.
Canada won its first World Championship gold since 2007.
