MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. The organizing committee expects to complete work on the concept of the FIFA World Cup 2018 security by mid-2016, the committee's head said on Thursday.
"We have just started this work," Alexey Sorokin said. "As soon as it [the concept] is coordinated with FIFA, we will be able to make some of its apsects public."
He said all security measures should be taken into account at the stage of preparations for the tournament.
Russia won the bid to host the Cup over three years ago in a tight race against the joint bid from England, Portugal and Spain and the combined bid by Belgium and The Netherlands.
World Cup matches will take place at 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities from June 14 to July 15, 2018.
