Pashutin also coached the Russian experimental team which has been playing in the Super League. Earlier, Pashutin had worked with the St. Petersburg Spartak, Moscow CSKA club and Kazan UNICS.
Since 2012 Pashutin has been Chief basketball coach at the Krasnodar-based Locomotive-Kuban sports club, which under Pashutin's guidance managed to qualify for the finals of the VTB United League and then won the Cup of Europe.
Apart from the Turkish national basketball championship, Trabzonspor has been contesting in the Eurochallenge Basketball-2014, which is third in importance in a series of the European Cup games.
