ANKARA, September 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Reigning world champion’s Russia retained its title on Thursday after winning the team competition event at the 2014 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, held in Turkey’s Izmir between September 21 and 28.
Russia’s Margarita Mamun, Yana Kudryavtseva and Alexandra Soldatova scored an aggregate of 147.914 points to win the gold of the championship.
The silver went to the team from Belarus, which scored an aggregate of 136.073 points, and the Ukrainian team packed the bronze with 135.515 points.
