NANJING, August 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian swimmer Evgeny Rylov brought his team gold medal of the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games in China’s Nanjing after winning on Wednesday in men’s 50 meters backstroke event.

The 17-year-old Russian swimmer finished the distance in 25.09 seconds leaving 0.35 seconds behind Greek swimmer Apostolos Christou with silver medal.

Italy’s Simone Sabbioni finished the distance with the result of 25.47 seconds to bring his team the bronze of the 2nd Summer Youth Olympics held in China’s Nanjing between August 16 and 28.
