RIO DE JANEIRO, June 29, /ITAR-TASS/. Victories by Brazil and Colombia have become the most memorable events at the World Cup 2014.
This time it was much harder for Brazil to win the match against Chile than it was in South Africa four years ago. The Chileans did everything to make the Brazilians shudder at the memory of this game, which the Brazilians won 1-1 (3-2 on penalties).
In the second last 16 match the Colombian team defeated Uruguay (2-0).
Brazil and Colombia became the first pair of semi-finalists.
The round of last 16 will continue on Sunday: the Netherlands will meet Mexico (22:00 Moscow time); Costa Rica will play vs. Greece (00:00 Moscow time).
Meanwhile, four fans felt bad at the Brazil-Chile match. They quickly received emergency aid. But the emotions must have been so high that one of the football fans was taken to hospital presumably with a heart attack.
