MOSCOW, June 29, /ITAR-TASS/. More than 10,000 cyclists will take part in the Third International Moscow Cycling Parade that will start from the Academician Sakharov Street at 11:30 on Sunday. Its aim is to develop cycling infrastructure and ensure safety on roads.
A 16-kilometer-long route will run on the Garden Ring to Turgenev Square and further to Sadovo-Spasskaya Street.
The first cycling parade took place in Moscow in 2012 and had a great success. More than 8,000 participants supported it's main idea: “The City Needs Cycling Infrastructure".
