Ahead of the World Cup, Brazil has been hit by a wave of protests and strikes. People demonstrate against the economic policies of the authorities and demand to re-assign the multimillion-dollar funds allocated by the state to prepare for the World Cup to education and health care. The confrontation has spread onto the walls of Brazilian cities: murals in favor and against the World Cup cover the walls of Brazilian cities.
