MOSCOW, April 28. /ITAR-TASS/. Freestyle skier Maria Komissarova came back to Russia after the end of the treatment and rehabilitation in Germany, Russia’s freestyle federation (FFR) reports. Athlete got a spinal fracture and a displacement of a thoracic intervertebral disc at the Olympics in Sochi, during her training for ski cross in extreme park Roza Khutor on February 15. After that she was sent to Germany for treatment. Maria’s lower body remains paralyzed. According to the chief doctor FFR Mirzali Samedova, Komissarova was taken to Moscow Clinical Hospital FMBA of Russia. Here Maria will undergo medical examination, it is necessary to diagnose the disability category and to develop strategy to further treatment and rehabilitation.
