“It is impossible to enumerate all your achievements. Your performance was so bright that it is pointless to speak about it, repeating myself,” the president told Paralympians on Monday.
Putin said the result shown by the team that had won 80 medals and was number one on medal count became the best not only for team Russia, but the best ever result in the history of Paralympic Games.
“It is just a firework of medals,” the president said, congratulating the athletes on their well-deserved awards.
