SOCHI, March 15, 15:43 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday visited the Laura skiing and biathlon complex where he watched the Paralympic mixed skiing relay competition.
Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko welcomed Putin, and Russian fans chanted "Russia", "Hurrah" and applauded. Putin waved to them. After watching part of the competition, the president signed autographs for fans and was photographed with some of them.
During the visit to the Laura skiing centre, Putin talked with the president of the Ukrainian Paralympic Committee, Valery Sushkevich.
The Russian team won the skiing relay.
