SOCHI, March 11. /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian sledge ice hockey national team will play against the United States, who are two-time Paralympic champions, in a group stage match of the 2014 Winter Paralympic Games held on Tuesday at the Shayba Arena.
These are the first Paralympic Winter Games for the Russian sledge ice hockey team. In two previous games Russia lost to South Korea 2-3 and then creamed the Italian team 7-0.
Group B top seed USA already punched its ticket to the semifinals after a 3-0 over South Korea on Sunday.
