Putin, Medvedev root for Russian Paralympians in hockey match with Korea

SOCHI, March 08 /ITAR-TASS/. President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev came to the Shaiba Stadium in Sochi on Saturday, March 8, to root for Russian Paralympians in a sledge hockey game against the Republic of Korea.

They joined International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach, Russian Paralympic Committee President Vladimir Lukin and Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko.

The third period is underway, with a score of 2:2. The first goal was scored by Russian players on the last minute of the first period. Russia scored again at the end of the second period, but several seconds later Koreans took advantage of the power play and scored their first goal and then equalised.
