SOCHI, February 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian figure skater Adelina Sotnikova, who became Olympic champion in ladies’ singles at the Winter Olympics in the southern Russian city of Sochi, told reporters that she first thanked her coaches.
“Together we went a long way to the Olympic medal,” Sotnikova said. “There was intensive work and tears, everything happened. I am grateful to all my team for patience, which helped me to obtain today’s success. Thanks to Yelena Buyanova, Tatiana Tarasova, Irina Tagayeva, Pyotr Chernyshev and all people, who helped me and believed in me,” she noted.
The Olympic champion noted successful choreography of this season, “We were searching for music together with the coach, Chernyshev’s choreography was just triumph of perfection.
