SOCHI, February 17, 22:08 /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian national ice hockey team will treat the game against Norway no less seriously than it would a final, Nikolai Kulemin, forward on the Russian team, told reporters.
The Russian national team will play Norway on Tuesday for the right to qualify for the quarterfinal. “The Norwegians play fast. So there will be not a second to relax. The Norwegians can play a tough game. It will be no easy game. So, we must be determined as we would about a final,” Kulemin said.
He has said he does not even consider a defeat. “We must continue doing what we have to do and then we will have luck. It is hard to say how an extra game will tell on the team. It is a very busy schedule. But to have a three-day rest without practicing is no good either. Anyway, we must continue working. l personally feel all right; I have adapted already. It was not very easy only in the first days since my flight from North America,” the player said.
