MINSK, February 15, 10:39 /ITAR-TASS/. The Sochi Olympic gold medals won by biathlete Darya Domracheva and freestyle skier Alla Tsuper who had Number 13 in the competitions have rejected theories of numerologists and superstition followers.
"I am not superstitious about figures, and for me Number 13 was always fortunate. Today, it has also brought good luck," said Domracheva, the winner of the biathlon 15 km individual race, whose words were quoted by the National Olympic Committee on its website.
"When I received my old number, I understood that I would be as lucky today as never before, and it has come true," freestyle aerials gold winner Alla Tsuper said.
The Belarusian team is looking forward to the performance of the Belarusian men freestyle skiers on February 17. Olympic medal winner (bronze 1998, silver 2006) Dmitry Dashchinsky, who will participate in the competition, also has Number 13.
