SOCHI, February 13. /ITAR-TASS/. Canada’s hockey team defeated Norway in the preliminary round match of group stage of the Olympic tournament in Sochi. The game ended with the score 3:1 (1:0, 1:0, 1:1).

Canadians Shea Weber, Jamie Benn and Drew Doughty scored goals. Norwegian Patrick Thoresen scored another puck.

Earlier, in another match of Group B Finland beat Austria with a score of 8:4.
