SOCHI, February 13. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian women's hockey squad has won in match against Sweden 3:1.

Among the winners, pucks were thrown by Anna Shchukina (9th minute), Aliona Khomich (30) and Yekaterina Smolentseva (59). Pernilla Winberg from the Swedish national team also delivered a puck (39).

This victory allowed Russians to take first place in their B group. They will play against Switzerland in quarterfinals.

The Swedish team passed to the next stage being second, and will fight to get through the semifinals with athletes from Finland.

Hockey players from Germany and Japan will play for 5-8 places.
