YEKATERINBURG, February 13. /ITAR-TASS/. Female rabbit Varezhka (mitten), who has been living at Yekaterinburg’s zoo for seven years, made a surprising change in her daily routine by making an ice hockey prediction.
Ahead of the game between Russia and Slovenia, being played now, she was offered two identical bowls with food. One was marked as “Russia” and the other one as “Slovenia.”
“Since it was her first such experience, she sort of hesitated a little, going from one bowl to the other, but finally settled in front of the one marked ‘Russia’,” the zoo’s representative told ITAR-TASS.
Russia is currently leading 5:2 in a preliminary round game with Slovenia at the Sochi Olympics.
