SOCHI, February 12. /ITAR-TASS/. US snowboarder Kaitlyn Farrington has won gold in ladies’ halfpipe at the XXII Olympic Winter Games in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi on Wednesday, scoring 91.75.
Australia’s Torah Bright secured silver (91.50), and American Kelly Clark took bronze (90.75).
Russians did not take part in the competitions.
Farrington was born on December 18, 1989 in Hailey, Idaho. She was the silver medalist of the 2011 Halfpipe X Games.
