SOCHI, February 12. /ITAR-TASS/. US snowboarder Kaitlyn Farrington showed the best result in the ladies’ halfpipe semifinals at the XXII Olympic Winter Games in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi on Wednesday, scoring 87.50 and making it to the finals.
China’s Jiayu Liu (81.25) and Shuang Li (80.00), Switzerland’s Ursina Haller (74.50), France’s Mirabelle Thovex (70.75) and Japan’s Rana Okada (70.00) will also perform in the finals that is due to kick off at 21:30 local time (17:30 GMT) on Wednesday.
