SOCHI, February 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Swiss snowboarder Iouri Podladtchikov won the gold Olympic medal in men’s halfpipe, showing the best score of 94.75 in the second run.

Ayumu Hirano of Japan won the silver medal (95.50) and another Japanese snowboarder Taku Hiraoka won the bronze medal (92.25).

Nikita Avtaneyev was the best among Russian snowboarders, taking the 25th position with a score of 63.75. Other Russian athletes, Pavel Kharitonov was the 30th (58.75), and Sergei Tarasov was the 36th (39.50).
