SOCHI, February 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Eight sets of medals are at stake on Tuesday, February 11, at the XXII Winter Olympic Games at the Russian Black Sea resort city of Sochi. Women’s slopestyle skiing is in the morning Olympic program, followed by cross-country skiing both in men’s and women’s category.

Also on Tuesday, men’s halfpipe snowboarding competition will take place at the Sochi Olympics. Winners of women’s 500m speed skating will be determined on the sixth day of the Games.

Women’s luge is scheduled for Tuesday as well, along with women’s ski jumping. In biathlon, women’s 10km pursuit will follow yesterday’s men’s 12.5km event.
