MOSCOW, February 09. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet on Monday, February 10, with activists from the public council for the preparation of the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, the Kremlin press service said on Sunday.
The public council was set up in September 2009 on the initiative of Sochi residents. The Monday meeting is expected to focus on issues of the Olympic heritage, interethnic relations and the development of environmental awareness of the city residents.
The president will also inspect infrastructure of the sea and cruise centre built on the basis of the city’s seaport under the program of the Olympic construction and the development of Sochi’s skiing resort.
