SOCHI, February 08, 13:24 /ITAR-TASS/. Organisers of the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi plan to open additional ticket offices due to the high demand from fans, head of the Sochi-2014 organising committee Dmitry Chernyshenko told a news conference on Saturday.
On Saturday, the Games will offer competitions in snowboard, biathlon, cross-country, figure skating, ice hockey, luge, ski jumping, and speed skating.
“The demand for tickets is very high,” Chernyshenko said. “We have begun online ticket services, like it was planned. The lines to ticket offices are very long, and thus we plan to open new ticket offices.
