SOCHI, February 07. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s national team delegation at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi will be the biggest one, numbering 250 people, including 190 athletes, according to the official website of the Russian Olympic Committee.
Russian biathletes and skiers will not take part in the ceremony, since they will have competitions on Saturday. Neither there will be Russian ice hockey players, who have not yet arrived in Sochi.
In line with the regulations of the International Olympic Committee, the Russian team will be the last to appear at the stadium. It will be lead by flag-bearer Alexander Zubkov.
The opening ceremony will start at 20:14 Moscow time on Friday.
