ABU DHABI, February 07. /ITAR-TASS/. An Afghan delegation led by President Hamid Karzai has left for Sochi to take part in the opening ceremony of the 22nd winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Pajhwok Afghan News reported.

The delegation involves National Security Adviser Rangin Dadfar Spanta and Foreign Minister Zarar Ahmad Moqbel Osmani, it said.

During the visit, Karzai is planning to have talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
