KIEV, February 03. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich plans to visit the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, acting Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara said on Monday, February 3.
“The president’s visit to Sochi has been scheduled,” he said.
An official in the presidential administration confirmed that Yanukovich might travel to Sochi to attend the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on February 7.
During the visit, Yanukovich hopes to meet with President Vladimir Putin.
The two presidents last met on January 8.
