SOCHI, February 03. /ITAR-TASS/. The Olympic mood is in Moscow airports already.
Most participants and guests travel via Moscow, and thus at Moscow airports passengers can see not only smiling Olympic mascots, but also a variety of uniforms of athletes from different countries.
On board Aeroflot’s planes (the company is the Games' general partner) every passenger will see on the seat a present - “fan’s set.” An envelope contains a badge, a luggage tag for a bag or backpack, inflatable bits for producing noise at stadiums and a postcard. All of these carry logos of the upcoming competitions.
However, Itar-Tass, which took a flight, was surprised even greater. Early in the morning, the air hostel offers menu in Russian and English. The Olympic breakfast, which is served between 5 and 10 in the morning, includes pancakes with salmon caviar and cherry cake with cream for dessert. The lunch menu includes salmon and catfish with salmon caviar and lemon, tangerine orange cake with passion fruit mousse. The menu offers figures for those who watch calories, proteins, fats and carbohydrates.
The number of flights between the capital city and Sochi has grown dramatically over the last days. Fans are coming to Sochi, and many teams have already settled in the Olympic villages.
