SOCHI, February 02, (ITAR-TASS). Sochi, on the eve of the Olympic Winter Games, will host a meeting of the International Olympic Committee’s Executive Board. The meeting will be chaired by head of the IOC Thomas Bach, who has been in Sochi for several days now.
Traditionally, the meeting participants will discuss near future of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the organisation’s strategic development, as well the upcoming Olympics in Sochi.
Besides IOC’s head, the Executive Board features three vice-presidents and ten ordinary members. IOC’s current Vice-Presidents are Nawal El Moutawakel, Craig Reedie and John Coates.
IOC Executive Board’s meeting is due in Sochi on February 2 and 3.
On February 4-6 Sochi will host the 126 session of the International Olympic Committee.
