MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Another Donbass-bound humanitarian convoy is set to leave Russia on December 21, according to the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
"Russia’s Emergencies Ministry has completed organizing its 72nd humanitarian mission. The trucks will leave the Ministry’s Don Rescue Center for Lugansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine on Thursday," a press service representative told TASS.
The convoy will bring about 450 tonnes of relief supplies to the residents of Donbass, which include food packages for kids, medical supplies and equipment, educational material and New Year gifts.
All the trucks will pass through compulsory customs control at the Donetsk and Matveyev Kurgan checkpoints.
Russia has been sending humanitarian aid to Donbass since August 2014 and has successfully delivered over 71,000 tonnes of relief supplies to the territory of south-eastern Ukraine.
