MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. More than 1,100 public New Year trees will be put up in Moscow ahead of the traditional winter festival, Journey to Christmas, the event’s organizers said on Tuesday.

"The installation of Christmas trees began on December 12," the organizers said.

More than 500 natural and 620 artificial trees will decorate the Russian capital. Most of them will be put up in Moscow’s central streets and boulevards.
