MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. Russia’s main New Year tree to decorate the Kremlin for the New Year holidays will be brought to Moscow next week, the spokesperson for the presidential property department told TASS on Thursday.

"The tree is about 100 years old and 27 meters tall," Yelena Krylova said.

She said the fir tree would be felled in the Domodedovo District of the Moscow Region on December 15 and delivered to the Kremlin’s Cathedral Square on December 17.

On December 26, the tree will be unveiled and take center stage on traditional children's holiday shows in the Kremlin, set to delight children from all Russian regions.
