Four gang members arrested in Russia’s Chita on suspicion of serious felonies

The investigation is under control of the regional Interior Ministry directorate

CHITA, November 28. /TASS/. Four members of the Klyuchevskie criminal gang have been arrested in Chita on suspicion of committing grave and extremely grave crimes, the press service of the Interior Ministry Directorate for the Zabaikalye Region reported on Tuesday.

"Employees of the Inter-district Department for the Fights against Organized Crime of the regional Interior Ministry directorate and the Investigative Department investigators, supported by the Russian National Guard fighters, have simultaneously arrested four active participants of the Klyuchevskie organized crime group. They are suspected of committing grave and extremely grave crimes, including several high-profile killings," the Interior Ministry directorate said.

The perpetrators were in contact with criminal leader Vladislav Telkin, who had been arrested earlier after being on the federal wanted list for a long time, police reported. Police are carrying out search operations in the perpetrators’ homes. The investigation is being personally controlled by the head of the regional Interior Ministry directorate.
