MOSCOW, August 19. /TASS/. A man, who on Saturday stabbed pedestrians in Siberian Surgut, could suffer mental disorders, the local police said.

According to the Investigative Committee, "an unidentified man ran along the city's central streets and stabbed pedestrians, injuring eight."

All the injured are at hospitals now. The attacker was killed.

The Investigative Committee has opened criminal proceedings.
